Aside from being a professional computer geek, I am quite an interesting guy(my wife says). Speaking of her, she's the best thing to happen to the male population since Pro Football in 1920. That's a long time right? She's that special! I also have a son that is growing up to be just like Daddy. I have a passion for playing music and have found a home on the bass guitar. More later, I'm sure. |

Joomla is basically a framework for websites. When you browse around this site and others that I have worked on, everything you see is handled by one piece of software that runs on the Web Server. Once you install the framework, you can customize every aspect of how your website looks and works. The "look" of your site is controlled by templates. This gives you unlimited possibilities to change the experience that visitors have. The content of your site is not affected when you change templates, so you are free to swap templates at will without having to worry about losing everything. You could imagine the flexibility this allows? The best part is, once the template is in place, you can log in and change the templates without having to hire someone to redesign your website. I can suggest several websites to find samples of these if you would like to purchase a custom template. I have a few templates that I use on a regular basis and with my basic services for getting you on the net, I include a template with custom graphics. |

A note to Craigslist users |

I have run across alot of people replying to ads posted on CraigsList. These people are complaining that others are wanting work done for free or for really cheap prices. You must keep in mind that these guys are most likely sitting at home mad at the world because they just got fired from Burger King for bucking the system. These are not the people you want doing your work. If your offering price is low, chances are that you have no idea what you need and what it takes to get it done. What you do need is for someone to explain what is going on and be friendly. In the end, all you need is the job completed, right? I will not rip you off, nor will I insult you. Send me an email telling me what you're wanting done and your budget for the project. If I cannot work for that price, I will atleast tell you how to do it. I have ways to offset the cost, and I'm always up for barter or trade. Please do not waste your time trying to work with these people, as you will get half-assed work. |
